    Howdy,

I went into PC World in the Jervis centre this morning to buy one of these TVs but when I got there I found out that they were out of stock and they're not getting any more in as the model is being discontinued :(
It is in stock on komplett.ie but given the recent problems that they've had I'm reluctant to spend over a grand with them.

So can anyone recommend an alternative to this TV?
    My requirements are:
    LED screen
    40 inch
    4 HDMI
    min 100Hz
    budget of about €1200

Here's a link to the Samsung:

    Cheers!

    Sony KDL- 40EX703U
Not quite as thin but goes for about €1150

    Cheers Sol.

I've been doing a bit more research into LED tv's (back lighting vs. edge lighting) and I've decided that the extra cost isn't really worth it so I'm now thinking of going for the Sony KDL-40EX500

    Nice set.

Try getting it in a Sony registered dealer, they are running a €100 trade in offer and 5year warranty (free)
