Dog Walking in Ashbourne

    Just a quick question.
I am moving back to Ashbourne in 3 weeks with my 2 dogs. Where I live at the moment there is an absolutely fabulous area where they can run around off lead and play in fields and a river.
My concern now is with all of the developement that has happened in Ashbourne over the past few years I don't know where I can walk my dogs off lead that they will be safe and nowhere near a road or housing estate?

I would prefer not to have to drive anywhere as my springer is so bad in the car that the vet has given me a sedative for him for the journey home.

Please help, we all love our walks and I would hate to have to keep them on the lead all the time as that really doesn't give them the exercise they need.

    Thanks
