New Virus called "Antivirus GT"

    Hi Guys,
I have what looks like a new virus on my computer.
It keeps popping up saying I have a lot of dangerous viruses on my computer(Looks very convincing, just like the AVG software) and it has a button that says "Remove all viruses", it then pops up with this antivirus software called "Antivirus GT", and it asks me to pay for it by entering credit card details and my CCV number.

I havent entered any details or accessed any personal accounts(email etc.)

So basically I think its a Virus masked as antivirus software.

I already have the free version of AVG installed on the computer.

Any time I try to access the AGV Icon to try and sort this new Virus out, the same "Remove all Viruses" box pops up. Asking me to buy "Antivirus GT". So its overriding AVG.

Any Ideas on how I can get rid???

    Any advice welcome!:o

Well i'd suggest getting a decent virus package first. Never liked AVG, cant trust something that you get for free. I've got NOD32 and its a brilliant system, easy to use and ctahes everything my previous virus system couldnt manage.

Might not be much but thats what i'd suggest.
