Glaucoma Surgery Side Effects

Hi My mum recently had surgery and has blurred vision since. She is completely stressed out that her vision won't return. She can see numbers and certain things but in general it's pretty bad and can't see alot... what she can see if blurred I'm wondering if this is normal? Can anyone help? Thanks
