    Hi there,
    I have this question here,
I drive company car and have eazypass in it. I need to get another tag for personal usage. so I ordered tolltag.ie tag and asked them if this will work and they were telling me that is I will have 2tags on the same reg. then I will get charged on both tags. is this true? what is the purpose of them tags in the first place then if they charge per reg? I was thinking that they charge per reg and tag that was scanned..
anyone any ideas regarding this please?
    Thanks

It seems like they only scan the reg and debit any tag associated with that reg.
Your only solution is to leave your employers tag on and reimburse your employer for your personal usage.

yeah that is what I was thinking, but why does it beep when it's scanned? obvioulsy it is beeing attached to the reg photographed.
so if I have the right one on that would be fine wouldn't it?

Velcro both Tags and swap as desired. The tags work at the most basic level, you Reg gets scanned and the tag just routes the billing.

that is my teory also... next week is the trial... I registered my second tag on to the same reg and I will keep driving with company tag, will see if eazyflow will start charging the other one or not..

AFAIK the relation between tag and reg should only ever be 1:1. Maybe get it from them in writing first that what you're trying to do is ok?

Anyway, please post back here with your findings :)

Hi, I work for Tolltag.ie and I can help I think
The dirst thing that is read is the tag and if for any reason they don't catch the tag they default to the number plate on the M50 only. If the tag is not read on a barrier road the barrier won't open. If you have two tags from different companies the trick will be to keep one of them either out of the car or in some kind of a metal container that blocks the reader. If your tag is not read then I am not sure how eflow will handle it as both companies will have you on their list. I see from a later message that you have the two tags anyway so i say drive on and see how it goes. We will assist you anyway if it does not work out. Cheers Paul

looks like it work very well,,
as I do not remember tags not beeping, it should work.
I drove to belfast through M50 M1 and it worked fine... I have one tag on the screen and another one in glove compartment. works well :)
