We're looking for a room around town to rent to rehearse in, no PA needed, doesnt need to be in a rehearsal complex (not looking for pay as you go places), so if anyone has/knows anyone who has anything, a bare room to rent for weekday evenings and weekends let me know by PM?

An art space, room in unoccupied office/commercial building, anything will be suitable really. Will pay fair rent of course, not flaky so looking for room longer term...

Did you have a read of the resources thread? There might be something suitable in there for you.

Nah we already have a 'proper' rehearsal room for ourselves in heart of Temple Bar, but are sharing it with other bands. We want to take a room somewhere we have 24/7, hence it doesnt need to be in a rehearsal complex (as the rates for 24/7 residency are exhorbitant!).

So basically if anyone knows of a landlord etc trying to offload any bare room in the city, preferrably a bare room let me know, cheers

You could try renting out a studio apartment but make sure that it aint furnished. That way ya can rent it monthly or weekly for pretty cheap and have access 24/7

I can't imagine a studio apartment being that cheap to rent. The neighbours and landlord probably wouldn't be too impressed either if they found out if was being used for band rehearsals. In my experience most modern apartments have deplorable soundproofing.

Its easy enough to take things down dampening pads for drums cellotape on the cymballs to take em down a notch that way it wont be as loud. Thats what i do and i don't get any complaints.

There's a place just off Amiens street called Volt. 2 bands per room and its 24 hours. They're good sized rooms
