Recommend a wordpress theme

    have gone through a number of wordpress themes but most of them require knowing mountains of some sort of code in order to customise them.

    Am looking for one that has some sort of slideshow feature on the front page

    I want something like this one below

    but that one doesn't seem to want to work with the webhost I am using.

    anyone got an idea of a similar theme.

    I use elegant themes. Highly recommend them.

    You can see one example in my sig, another is www.irelandindia.org and www.globalinhabitant.com. None of them are finished but you get an idea of how their sites look from that. I'm not using the most advanced themes though and I don't really need a slideshow on every site.

    It cost €15 a year, and there's a great message board with support for customization, and they're always releasing new themes.

    Or else you could find a template that you like, and with a small donation, get the original designer to edit it for you.

    I have got a few plugins customised, and didn't mind buying the designer a beer over PayPal for a job very well done! ;)

    hey, i use massive press, with a widget for the slideshow you can check it out here, www.gamersireland.ie . i did change the colours on it but its pretty easy to do there are guides on the wordpress hompage for everything.
