    What did yas think?

I thought she looked stunning. Not 100% sure about the band in the middle but extremely elegant, simple and unfussy.Gorgeous. Liked the bridesmaids dresses and colour too.

Thought it looked really nice, suited her.

    +1 for the bridesmaid dresses!

I really like the band actually. It's a lovely dress, not overly 'weddingy'.

Totally fabulous, stunning. I want if I ever get married

I think she looked absolutely stunning, they make a beautiful couple.

I really like it, a little bit too puffy maybe but still lovely. love the bridesmaid dresses too

Sorry. but I don't like it at all. Not too mad about the bridesmaid's dresses either.

I love it, the 50's style skirt and bow are adorable! It's probably something like I'd pick out for myself :)

I liked it but I didn't love it.
Really liked the bridesmaids dresses esp the one shouldered one

I really like it! It's really classic and timeless. I'm not gone on the bridesmaids' dresses, though I love the dusty pink colour.
Really like the simplicity of the dress and the flowers :)

Ooh that's a beautiful dress, she looks stunning! Not mad on the bridesmaids dresses but I'm not mad on one shoulder dresses anyway.

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 9,722 Mod ✭✭✭✭Twee.

Wow it's gorgeous! I really like the bow. So classic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,920 ✭✭✭cee_jay

I loved her dress. I normally don't like strapless dresses but the heart shaped neckline was lovely on the dress. I wasn't overly mad about the bridesmaid dresses. The pink was a bit of a non colour to me.

very undestated which is nice to see at a "celebrity" wedding

    They all look pretty

Dress is indeed beautiful, but it depends on who is wearing. The reason why is because that beautiful dress and the perfect combination of temperament. If I get married, would not choose it, because it is not for me

Thought the dress was nice, but won't be saying its the nicest wedding dress ever.....

Didn't like the bridesmaids dresses at all - thought they were awful!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,130 ✭✭✭Azureus

Not a big fan of either tbh, the whole lot are very forgettable.. Dusty pink=a non-colour for me tho.

At the same time it IS nice to see something understated in a celeb wedding. If my friends had it id prob think it was amazing, depends on expectations

I'm not mad on it, I'm not a fan of strapless dresses as I think they are mega overdone, but I actually llike the sweetheart neck of this one and think the bow is cute. Hate the bottom of it though, think it's way too puffy and don't think it looks like a nice material. Thought the dress would be knockout but think it's very blah.

Not a fan of the BM dresses at all, I think they look like a bog standard dress that any guest would wear to a wedding, I think a BM should really stand out.

Feel so sorry for the very pregnant BM, don't think the dress flatters the bump and she's going to be in every paper in the country!

I wasn't overly keen on it tbh.

I don't like the bow/band, the skirt or the frill at the bottom of the skirt. I also didn't like the veil. I don't like the bridesmaids dresses either.

The top part of Amy's dress is the only part of dress I liked. I also liked the colour of the dress.

    Amy's hair was nice too.

She looked stunning cos if she wore a sack she would look stunning!!! As posted already EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG are wearing strapless dresses!!!! Yes the dress is nice and under stated, the top is very nice but the bottom looks like net curtains  I love Amy Huberman by the way, think she rocks :D But she could have done better!!

    Really pity the pregnant bridesmaid!

I thought it was really elegant and timeless. Delighted to see a simple style with a retro (50s) touch. Definitely suited her very well.

I liked the bridemaids' dresses too - in fact I thought that the pregnant bridesmaid looked very well. It was nice to see knee-length dresses.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,772 ✭✭✭Jwacqui

I LOVED it!! She is stunning anyway but it looked really elegant and classic on her!

    Not too over the top!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,339 ✭✭✭convert

I thought it was a lovely dress and it was very flattering to her (not that she needs i! :D )

I liked the simplicity, classiness and style of it, though wasn't a fan of the bridesmaids' dresses.

i thought she was stunning but didnt like the full skirt on the dress. i would prefer a more fitted dress personally. Reading the paper today, an article said she was very natural- no fake tan or makeup which i dont believe for a minute!!

Sign of a good fake tan and make up application if it didn't look like she was wearing any! :D

So true but I thought it was very obvious though that she was wearing fake tan & make up.

I am not slating her for wearing either but I dont think she looked natural. She did look very beautiful (but i would not have said natural)

I really liked the wedding dress when she stood still but I saw a clip of it on TV and every time she moved the dress came out about an inch from her body so there was a gap, that really put me off it. I liked the bridesmaid dresses too but didn't like the dress on the pregnant bridesmaid, it didn't flatter the bump at all.

That was a better pic than the OP as it shows the end of the dress which makes a difference to the entire thing.

I thought it was cute and pretty but not by any means stunning. She's very good looking so she didn't really need an out-of-this-world dress to look amazing which is lucky, because it was very plain! She looked great though.

I loved the bridesmaid dresses, the colours were beautiful for a summer wedding, SICK of seeing wine, burgundy and dark bridesmaids dresses. I also loved the knee length and the varied tops and thought the pregnant one looked great!

I thought it was a classic, understated, elegant dress. There was none of that god awful overdressing you usually see in Irish 'celeb' weddings.

She is gorgeous and a simple dress perfectly suited her style. IMO less is always more when it comes to wedding dresses.

I thought the pregnant bridesmaid looked very good. At that stage of pregnancy there are very few styles of dresses which absolutely compliment you but I thought that looked good on her.

I don't believe for a second that she had no makeup on. Perhaps she had a tan and didn't need false tan but you don't look that good in photos without makeup even on your wedding day when you're supposed to be radiant.

The suggestion that she had no make up has really made me laugh, you can see her eye make up from 20 paces in those pictures! What woman wouldn't wear make up on her wedding day, especially when she knows she'll be on every paper and news programme. That saying, her make up doesn't look overdone and she doesn't look like she's been tangoed which is nice to see.

Saw pictures in todays pictures and I can see what the previous poster meant about the gap at the top of the dress. Not a great look IMO and one of the reasons i'm not a fan of strapless wedding dresses. They normally end up gaping or else are too tight and you get back fat. Very few people can pull them off, can't understand why everyone seems to wear them.

I love the skirt and the general style of it but dislike strapless dresses, they rarely suit me but looked decent on her.

    I'm sorry, who?

    Yeah it's okay.

I much prefer the one she wore at the wedding rehearsal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 223 ✭✭Blizzard

I thought she looked absolutely beautiful - loved her dress and the simplicity - very classic - and loved the bigger/puffy skirt. Bridesmaids looked elegant also - liked the colour (understated and classy) and the fact that they were different designs.

its actually made me stress over mine..lol

Puffy, standard wedding dress. I thought at least two of the bridesmaids looked pregnant, but the colour is pretty.

Much prefer that coloured one! It's beautiful on her.

Two of her bridesmaids were pregnant - one of them heavily pregnant.

Aha, one of the previous posters just mentioned the one who was pregnant. I thought they were a pretty good style for a pregnant lady actually.

Thought the bridesmaids were gorgeous - very understated colour and design. Nice to see something classy and traditional rather than übertrendy and whacky. She looked lovely too, it suited her (wouldn't have liked it myself but then I'm not blonde and slim and gorgeous). She looked very normal and uncontrived and weddingy and un-sleb, good on the Hubs.

I think she looks gorgeous, but the dress wouldn't be for me. If I was going to get married, I'd want a dress that was really special. Not overly dramatic or anything, but I'd definitely want a little bit of WOW, and to me, that dress is just sort of 'safe' and I guess typically wedding-ish.

Amy always looks great because she seems like the type of girl who knows who she is and doesn't need to spend time trying to pitifully win over public approval like so many of her contemporaries. It's called being an individual.
