    lads,

can anyone tell me if the revs kick in when the AC is turned on, I thought they should..? I got my AC gassed today after fitting a pipe that was leaking, the clutch was not engaging on the AC side and yer man said fix the clutch and come back and I will check the gas again.

so now the clutch is working, must be a lose connection or something, but im not sure if the AC works, it seems cold alright, but the revs don't jump up like I thought they should..?

Don't know about the Mondeo but I previously had a Focus and when you switched on the air con you could hear the compressor kick in and the revs would rise slightly. Presume the Mondeo would have a similar system.

    Edit: 12,000th post, whooo!

the compressor kicks in, don't think the revs go up at all. the compressor also shuts down and a few ticks later it kicks in again..

    this is normal ya?

Most cars i find when you switch on the air con, causes the rev's
to rise, so don't worry about it.
