What types of attachments are they?

You will need to have the appropriate plugin for the appropriate browser if you wish to open it within the browser.. Probably the best option if you are having trouble is to download the attachment to your own PC and try to open it from there (i.e. outside of the browser).

    Thanks for your reply.
The attachments are just word documents.
Its weird as i could read them before.

So if you save them to your desktop as xxxxxx.doc and then open the file in Word what happens.. do this happen with many files or is it just the one file. ?

when i click on the attached document i get the options open/save etc, when I click on open or save it looks like it will open and then it just stops so it wont allow me to open it or save it.
Have tried a few of my previous attachments and there all doing the same thing.V strange!

Have you tried to do the same with Opera, Firefox, Chrome or any other browser as a test?

What I'm saying is that there may be some misconfiguration of the browser (program that allows you to view web pages, which is probably Internet Explorer if you havent downloaded something different). You could try downloading another browser ... there are many ...Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome.. and see if this makes opening your attachments easier..
