Got one of these universal chargers today in Tesco Stillorgan for 8 neurons. Thought it was a terrific idea and bargain to boot :)

I bought a couple in Tesco Clearwater during the week. They were marked €17.49 (I think) but scanned through at €8 - nice suprise!!

Please excuse the thickness but the description says it's a mains charger but then later on if says it gives up to 2 hours of charge.

I'm taking it that it works off the internal battery when not connected to mains ?

what's the rating of the battery does anyone know ?

    Edit: Product spec page

Was trying to figure out the use for it. Can charge multiple devices at once, and also has an internal battery so you can charge same devices if you were away from a power point (but brought juicejack with you). Is that about the gist of it?

You do know that you should have gotten it free then yes? Tescos no quibble gurantee? If you are charged a higher price then is displayed on the shelf, you get the item free, and without quibble!
Whenever i shop, if something is discounted, i ALWAYS check the receipt after.
I have gotten loads of free items from this. Make sure you only go to customer service after you pay, else they change the price, so you wouldnt get charged the full amount, and thus cant claim the item free.

the no quibble only works if you have payed and finished your transaction if you point out the price problem before you pay they just fix it and you pay the correct price! I learned from that mistake lol

Yeah got free stuff in Tescos before when overcharged alright but these were marked €32.49 in this particular store with no sign of any discount or special offer and i had no way of proving otherwise so decided not to push my luck:pac:
