Anyone have a slim PS2 they aren't using?

I've already got a PS3 and a fat PS2 but my laser is pretty much useless now. It skips and freezes and takes about five tries to load up a game. Pretty useless now. So i've decided to go down the route of using my computers DVD drive to stream the game over the PS2 (Which IS possible by the way) but to do that I need to connect the two via a LAN cable which is impossible on the fat PS2 without the network adaptor which hasn't been sold for about four years now. So in short, does anyone have a slim PS2 that they aren't using that they could sell me?

The only prerequisite is that it was made before mid 2008 and that it has a model number below SCPH-9xxxxx

I will but after the Brazil v Netherlands match :p

Alright that was a shocker of a match but anyway... :pac:

What you need is a PS2 that can launch homebrew files, seeing that your laser is shot the only way you can launch an .elf file is with a memory card exploit like free MC boot. The only feasible way without using your laser is to give your memory card to someone who has a working laser and they can install the MC exploit for you.

Anyway once that is out of the way all you need to do is run Open PS2 loader and its very straightforward after that

Still though, I don't have a slim PS2 (Or Network adaptor) so I need to find one somehow. By any chance are you selling that PS2 with the shot laser?

I doubt its necessary for anything but online play which is nonexistent now anyway. So could I have it?

Not really. Was thinking more like a game or something?

Do you have anything for my desktop? It has nor wireless dongle etc and I'd like to get rid of the wire?

Well I've a pci wireless card, aerial is missing though so signal degrades after about 20m but within that it gets a very good signal. Made by Belkin.

Does that have to be integreated into the tower?

Well yeah it has to be slotted in to a PCI slot for it to work. Not difficult by any means but I wouldn't recommend it unless you know what your doing.

    And I don't.

Have you any games you are willing to let go for it?

For the PS2? They're all fairly rubbish barr Grand Turismo 4 and MGS 2/3 but I couldn't give them away. How about plain old cash?
