Hey, just got the 12 week blowdry the other day (which i'd recommend by the way) and was told that I need to start using shampoo and conditioner with no sulfate (sodium/salt) in it.
Just wondering if anyone could tell me of any reasonably priced shampoos they know of that dont contain that ingredient ?
    thanks :)

All joico shampoos don't contain it, any shampoos for hair extensions and for 12 week blowdry. You'll be able to get a bottle for 10-15 euro

I forked out the 30 for each, would love to know where I can get NaCl and sulphate free ones at a more reasonable price next time too!

This isn't true, the X-10 range, which is especially for extensions, contains it.

Burt's Bees are sulfate free, as are Pureology.

I think Original Source could be. Avalon Organics are anyway and smell lush! Have a poke around boots and look at the brands because more than you would think are changing over.

Are you talking about SLS (Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulphate)?

Thats the foaming ingredient in most shampoos.

Boots do a brand called "Naked" - its bout e7 a tube. I tried it and didnt like it (hair didnt feel clean). Other alternatives are Origins and Liz Earle.

Yep, SLS is basically a detergent that binds to the oil in your hair. It strips grease well, but it also strips colour. Manufacturers use it because it's cheap.

I didn't like the Naked range at all.

I use sulphate free colour protect shampoo and conditioner called Semi Di Lino - Diamante. I bought them in my salon for a very reasonable €9 each.
