    Hey Doctor Who fans, I’ve got some excellent news – I am here on behalf of BBC America and wanted to let you all know the details about the US premiere of The Choir on Wednesday, July 7 at 10/9c. The series centers around Gareth Malone, who is on a mission to build much more than a musical ensemble, in extremely unlikely settings – including schools who’ve never had a music program before and blue collar neighborhoods in need of a community focus. He meets some incredible people along the way, and has a great time bringing them together to create something unique. On who should replace Simon Cowell on Idol, Ed Martin, on The Huffington Post, declared “I nominate Gareth Malone, the well-informed, tough-talking, razor-sharp star of the BBC reality competition-observational documentary hybrid series The Choir.” Check out a sneak peak of the series– we’d love to hear your thoughts!

    How many of you got a chance to see the remarkable job Gareth and the kids did in the premiere? Pretty awesome stuff, huh?
