Hey, just wondering if the light that flashes the BB is at the bottom or the end of the silencers?

I ask, cause I'm thinking of getting one (I know, I know, but they look so cool) but my inner barrel goes about half way through the silencer, so not sure if it will work.

    Any help is appreciated

The sensor the BB passes through is about 1/5 of the way up on my own one JDR (tokyo marui full auto tracer unit).

Ah, so it's closser to the barrel?

On the JG version I have the light source is at the beginning of the silencer. So if your inner barrel goes beyond your current flashider it won't work... and yea they're cool...

OK, seems I won't be able to buy one.

I'll just have to make one

Why not just get a shorter inner barrel or even cut your existing one

Cause I got the extended barrel to get more range/accuracy off my M4 (it was a CQB with a 240mm barrel, now it has a 460mm). I prefer long range to CQB myself, but I like having the option to change back with about 15 mins work.

JDR, the silencer type tracer unit is not the only kind. G&P also make tracer units, but they are built into the magazine instead.

It's an M4 you have right?

Your right, I do have an M4, but I have heard bad things from them. They are meant to be a bit delicate, and only really work on full auto. Since the light is in the mag, when the BB is resting in the hop up unit the light would fade from the BB. Meaning results would vary.

But, in fairness, for 15 quid a mag, I will probably give them go if building one doesn't work out.

Thanks for showing me where to get some. I had seen then on Airsofteire, but a bit out of my price range.
