Since the day I first started using Meteor Broadband to go (refurbished modem) the Network Signal Indicator has never shown any signs of life whatsoever despite constant blue light and good speed tests.

Any idea's folks... do I need to flick a switch somewhere:P

Their just the blank bars....they should fill with colour to show signal strength..shouldn't they? or least that little pointer should move up n down!

nope they dont fill up with colour if i could post a pic of my 3 software i would but dont have a clue how to do it lol..if you move round to differant areas of your house does the indicator go up and down in signal strenght??it maybe that you are so close to the mast that its showing as full the whole time??when i bring my laptop to my cousins house it never goes below the full 5/5 bars but its currently at 3-4 bars in my house ..
as i type this my modem has gone to GPRS haha only does that when its not connected currently using utv DSL at the moment:rolleyes:

whats your current speeds on meteor is it fast??

Does it work or not? If it does work, why do you need to see coloured bars?

As I said you have full signal (5 bars). They do NOT fill up with 'colour'

ah thats the answer so....the bars are white and I always have 5 of em as I don't move my lapdog around and must be close to a mast.

Meteor forum could have put me right on that a week ago aww well all sorted now.

What confused me most was that I was told that vodaphone bars are grey or black, and thought this was standard across the board.

    Thanks guys:)

yep the vodafone software is way differant than the one 3 o2 and meteor use the signal indicator is much differant is is coloured in grey but your meteor software is just going to show up as white bars if they move up or down you will know they do not dis colour at all when the signal strenght goes down!!you must be right beside the mast lol
