Where to go in Cork

I am doing a quick tour of the South-West next week as have a Brazilian buddy heading over.

The plan so far is to spend Monday day in Lahinch and evening in Doolin, Tuesday in Killarney and then head across to Cork on Wednesday & then head back to Dublin on Thursday as he heads to London on Friday.

I was hoping to go to a place where there is some craic/atmosphere (Irish music preferable) and possibly a beach. I hope to stop off and see a few sights along the drive from Killarney to Cork.

Any ideas where to go and of good values B&B's there?

    Thanks:)

Take the road through Kenmare onto bantry, brings you across some great roads and scenery, from there to Skibbereen, Glandore, Drombeg Stone Circle, turn off just after Rosscarbery, out to Galley Head, Long Strand, then into Clonakilty, if you get a nice day weather wise, then that will be a great drive.
