    Hi,
My old square set with the big back on it has finally thrown in the towel. I need to get a new TV for as cheap as possible and was hoping to go for 32" but I am totally confused. I just want to watch the soaps and the odd DVD. Maybe connect the Wii from time to time.
I don't understand all the spec etc. I just want a TV. But then I'm thinking I want it to last a few years so prob needs to be HD ready/digital etc?? I am not fussy as to the brand but a few hundred is a lot of money to me right now so don't want to waste it on a heap of crap either.
Anyone got any suggestions as to what I actually need to look for and where would be cheapest place to get it. What are the extras that I really don't need? I live in Galway but could head up to Dublin or wherever if it was worth my while.

    Thanks

thier is a small retailer based in the very south of northern ireland called watters electrical , they absolutley will not be beaten for price , harvey norman , DID, power city , forget it , for price and a ( very traditional ) customer service second to none , head to crossmaglen and watters electrica , i know this sounds like a shameless self promotion but its not , im only someone who has been shopping there for more than 15 years and who has never once been disapointed

as for a tv, im no expert and thats putting it mildly , if however price is your number one priority , WALKER tv,s are not half bad , ive two portables and have had no trouble in three years , cost a hundred quid each , my sister bought one in the past month and is more than happy , 300 euro for a 32 inch HD ready in power city
