Im going to this, first time at a game in the north.

I know this will come accross as nieve and a bit ignorant to the whole situation in the north but is the area around the ground safe to park with a southern reg?? also belfast in general is it ok to be in a kildare jersey before/after the game?

sorry if its a stupid question but the only belfast i know is the belfast i see on the news.

You’ll be fine in Belfast in a Kildare jersey, especially in the area around Casement Park.
Belfast is full of southern reg cars now due to the cheaper shopping and you shouldn’t have a problem, although obviously don’t park it in the wrong area. These will be easy to spot at this time of year as the flags have all went up in the past week or two.
If you’re driving up on the day, take junction 2 off the M1, Casement Park will be on the left just as you approach the junction, take the first left as you come off the slip road and then take a right into the shopping centre and park safely there.

just back, delighted with the result obviously but it was a poor first half, kildare really got going in the second half with some very nice points from play.

antrim just didnt really show up today it seemed.

great support up from kildare too.

yeah the backs were very good, hugh mcgrillen had a great game i thought. antrim were crowded out a few times/pushed back out and a few times they end up loding possession. was good pressure from kildare.

would have to be fancied against leitrim.

Was there fighting at this game?

there was no all out fight but there was a fair bit of pushing etc off the ball. was a physical game, kildare were very fired up after bradleys comments last week about supporters in newbridge, hence the large travelling support from kildare last night.

There was an incident after full-time though, between an antrim player and one of the kildare subs i think, few swings thrown, none connected but was broken up very quickly.
