    Inspired by easyeason3's thread, How has After Hours enriched your life, I've been meaning to write this for the past few days and didn't think posting in that thread to be appropriate. Basically, I'm closing my account with boards.ie as it is a reminder of some real bad times in my life. In the past few years I've had a serious illness, recently had surgery to correct it and to say it has changed my life is an understatement.

    Thank you After Hours for providing me some escape from the troubles associated with my illness. To say this forum is great is to not do it justice although it can be harmful if not viewed for what it is, just a bit of fun, which I am also guilty of doing.

    I've enjoyed many threads/posts by various posters, too many to mention. I hope I have provided some fun for those reading (my personal favourite posts include Do women get p*ss shivers? and Worst thing you have seen going on in nightclubs - post #13) but the fun has gone out of my posting, yes I'll admit I have been a thanks whore! But the above surgical procedure has made me realise I'm actually quite an intelligent guy and its time to move on.

    On the other hand, I guess I've also revealed too much about myself within this forum - the penny dropped after posting this post. My only excuse for that is I was quite heavily medicated on prescription drugs at the time but there have been others where there can be no excuse made - those who know me personally will understand though. :o

    I will be returning to boards.ie under a different guise but not for a while. It won't be just to post in AH though as I have realised I actually have wide ranging interests in other things rather than boob jobs and recently dumped ex-girlfriends in Finglas hotels!

    God speed After Hours, you really do help (and hinder) more people than you will ever know.
