Help on Flashing/Dpc detail

    Hi Folks,
I am installing an eaves window on my self build project (a rooflight meeting a vertical window at the eaves) I have attached a picture of the type of detail Im talking about. Do any of the more knowledgeable people on here have a standard detail for the dpc and flashing arrangement in this case. Also, bear in mind that I will have stonework on the vertical in my situation. How does the flashing tie into the dpc's of the wall and window surround?
    Thanks in advance,
    C

agreed, this should come as a 'kit' from your rooflight manufacturer

I think the flashing that comes with them is not that great for dealing with the junction between wall and roof. From what Ive seen of the fakro ones, the flashing only really deals with getting water off the roof section.
IMO you need to leave out the cavity closer block for about 9" each side of the window or else cut a slot in it to allow the vertical dpc at the window sides to continue up past the closer and then be fed up under the en of the flashing.
Im sure its fairly easy to work out if you had the box of bit in front of you

Thanks for your comments lads. I am sourcing this window direct from the window suppliers themselves. I have not decided on which supplier im going with yet. Will wait for blocks to be built to get final quotes based on measure. I have looked at these type of windows supplied by velux and to be honest they are quite unsightly and dont seem to tie in with the vertical windows as neatly as shown on my photo on original post. I in fact have 3 panes of glass side by side and have loooked at teh velux brochure for this typr of window. It looks quite good from the inside but looks very "clunky" from the outside. I just want to be sure that my blocklayer , roofer and window supplier are all singing from the same hymn sheet with regards to flashing, dpc and airtightness.
