i think either Linda Hamilton (yeah sarah conor is a great mom) or Mary McDonnell,

preference to Mary McDonnell, i think she would fit in better with the dramady aspect of the show, thought she made a nice fruity doctor on greys anatomy,

Linda Hamilton - Great Actress, Pop Culture appeal.

Lynda Carter - Zachary Levi's choice apparently according to rumours on the net. Definite Pop appeal. May be a little old to play Chuck's Mother & Stephen Bartowski's wife though

Lucy Lawless - I think she maybe the best choice. Decent actress, physically fit still, well able for comedy scenes, derfinite Nerd Points.

Either one of these in my mind would be great.

i dunno id like to see hamilton if anyone, but on further thought youd have to consider how they would match up to stepen bartowski, i still think Mary McDonnel is the best choice, a solid actress that could pull off the quirkyness that you kind of expect from someone that had to live with him for so long,

suppose we also have to consider who shes playing, is she been hidden for her protection, or is she working for the ring, either way she could have been used as bait to capture orion, now that he dead i suppose plans have been set in motion, and she seems to be on the move, weather shes been hidden away again or making her move for orions secrets who knows,

I can see what what saying there yet as have only seen McDonnell in straight or serious roles so far (my only experience being Dances with Wolves and Donnie Darko) .So in her case I cannot form a proper opinion on her fitting into a show like Chuck. So I'll have to take your word on this. There is good people that make Chuck so hopefully whomever she is it will make for a good choice.

When i think of Chuck's mom she never sprung to mind.....i hope she's evil in the series, a baddie.

yeah was looking at a few photos, she has aged quiet badly, should have been mary mcdonnell

still we are where we are, i trust the producers to make this work, they havent let us down in 3 seasons, i dont think theyll start now,
