    Hi

    I am unsure if this is a bug - was just surprised to get access to source code.
    I was posting earlier on a thread and forgot where I was so used CTRL + U to underline highlighted text - however got a new popup called
    view-source:http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=66689776

    Within this I can see
    var SESSIONURL = "";
    var SECURITYTOKEN = "12xxxxxxxxxxxxx - removed the rest

    If requested I can post up the rest of the file.

    running Win XP on a lenovo over a work vpn.

    This is just standard functionality of your browser, showing the source code of the page. You can do this on any website and you'll see similar code.

    The source code of web pages is stored and transmitted in plaintext. Unlike a program, it's not compiled, so anyone visiting any website is capable of viewing the source code for that website.

    This is of course the HTML Source (which is basically just a description of how the page should be displayed) which differs from the PHP source which actually performs all of the logic and retrieval and is never shown to the end-user.

    Ah ok - thanks Seamus.

    Guess this thread can be closed so as it is really just down to poor user education.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
