need stylish windows laptop, that comes close to Macbook, stylewise

    Looking for a decent laptop to run windows, play/burn dvd's with decent battery life.

    There are a few out there, but none look any way nice. looking for something that looks decent, not as good as a macbook but along those lines.

    Any recommendations?

    well, im trying to keep below the 1000 quid mark. if im spending 1000 quid i might as well just get a macbook. was hoping to save some money.

    just checked out the HP Envy. its way over budget ( 1200 or thereabouts) and requires an external dvd rom drive.
