Bought netbook and sold internet secuity on a cd

    Hi there,

Yesterday I bought a netbook. Where I bought it the guy insisted I needed an internet security package so I got the Kaspersky 2010 internet security package.

However, there's no cd drive on the netbook and you need one to upload the security package. (the instructions with it say that a cd drive is needed).

So now I'm left with a useless security package and an unsecured netbook!

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this sort of this but to me this looks like blatant misselling ( I liken it to buying a dvd player and the sales agent insisting I need to buy a video tape with it ).

Can anyone please advise me what to do - I've tried calling the place I bought it but the phone keeps ringing off. If I bring it back will they just laugh at me?

    Thanks!
