Resurgence Pack?

So just wondering two things:

To people with the Xbox, what do you think of the maps (if you have them of course), are they any good and are they worth the money?

To people with the playstation, are you looking forward to them, and will you be buying them?


Have to say I'm really looking forward to them myself, some maps look awesome like carnival. I got great use and enjoyment out of the last set so I'll more than likely be buying the next set.

PS and buying them. I really like the Stimulus maps and I'd just feel I'm missing something without them. This game will have cost me €80 now but it's easily worth it considering some of the useless dross I've bought in the past.

Am just about to hit my 3rd prestige so double xp sounds nifty for getting back up through the ranks again, I'll be buying them, I think MW2 is great value for money, I didnt buy it full price (well I did when I first bought it on xbox on release day, got it on ps3 on the cheap a few months back) and have been playing 1-2 hours a day at elast for the past 5 months, money well spent when I look at some of the other big games like Heavy Rain, GOW3 and such that I paid full whack for a and played through once.

Ps3 and Pc this time, Xbox already had their XP weekend when they where released a month ago.

I wont be buying the maps this time because i no longer find the game fun enough and im burned out after playing 3 COD's non stop for 2 and a half years. Gonna take a 5 month break till black ops

Xbox actually got a double XP week. Did the PS3 not get double xp on the US army weekend (Can't remember the name)??

I bought them when they came out. Overall I think I prefer them to the first pack. I'm not mad on Overgrown, and hate Bailout as it's noobtoob heaven. I quite like Carnaval, and Fuel and Trailer Park is fast paced fun too.

Ye we got a double XP i knew that but i wondered if we'd be included in this one too. Clearly not the case.

Yes PS3 got that double xp on the army weekend thingy.

if you're still playing MW2 at this stage I would recommend both packs.5 maps for 12 euro?Cant go wrong(ok 2 old one's)really.

As somebody said above, I'd feel like I was missing out on something if I didn't.

It is a bit annoying being in a party where one or more people dont have a map pack so you're missing out on some of the maps, but with this new one theres a ton of maps/modes available, looking forward to Carnival it looks like a laugh, something different anyway.

Carnival And Trailer Park are the best maps in the Resurgence pack.

SnD is particularly good on both and so too is demolition and domination.

Fuel is a bit of a meh map for me. Can't decide whether i like it or hate it.

Fuel is just toooooooo big. And it's made even bigger by half your team going over inside that bloody rock!
