Iphone 4 Upgrade or New Customer Deal

Hi Folks

I have been with 02 a while now and I have a gold upgrade on my account, but what I want to know is, should I wait til iphone 4 arrives and "upgrade" for whatever the price is, I guess maybe €129 or should I cancel my contract and see if the "new customer" deals are better?

Anyone have any insights or thoughts on this please?

Generally a gold upgrade is the same price as a new customer on advance 350

you should cancel your contract regardless.

Silver upgrade gets you the new iPhone 4 at new customer price. Customer care confirmed this for me. Also confirmed that gold upgrade gets you between 25-50 euro off new customer price.

I dropped my bill from 120euro to 40euro a month (changing family to O2, switching to new contract with inclusive minutes), and my upgrade dropped from gold to silver. I value to extra 80euro a month in my pocket moreso than 25euro off the new phone though....

Not so simple, for me to cancel my contract a decision must be made before the 12th due get out clause...never as simple as it looks...

As far as I am aware you can cancel your contract and it won't effect your upgrade status. This been confirmed on the get out of contract thread. So get out while you can and give yourself the choice

Yep you definately keep your upgrade as long as your monthly spend doesn't drop too much. Remember...

End of July - although no confirmation from anybody about an exact date. Vodafone and O2 haven't even acknowledged that Apple even released a new iPhone...
