    Hello,

I'm having a small problem with my laptop, the screen is broken. I have a monitor that I want to connect to it.

Is it possible to connect the monitor and actually close the laptop and have it work as a CPU. I could then use an external mouse and keyboard.

    I'm on Windows Vista.....

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards

You may need to press something like Fn+F8 to switch the display (on my Dell), and check power settings in control panel to make sure it does nothing when you close the lid
