i was changing my scope on my .22 this evening and when i was taking the sunshade off it the front glass part screwed off too. so i screwed it back into its original place but now when i look down the scope i can see two crosshairs. what have i done wrong?

    What scope is it?

    Did you unscrew the Bell?

If you did, crank it down to mid or low magnification and adj in slow 1/8 rev turns clockwise then anti to see if it focuses

Hard to explain, or understand unless I saw it in my hands
