    Hi Guys,
Im starting up a new company. Very low setup costs.
But I have time on my hands.

So im doing my own website, and planning my own roadsigns.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make good quality yet cheap road signs?
I googled it, but not much seemed to turn up. I thought maybe one of you had tried this?

    Any help appreciated...
    John

Just talk to a sign company and get it done properly, I'd say you'll be surprised how little it costs.
A cheap looking sign won't look good for you and on the other hand there's a good chance you'll get done for littering too by your local council. Estate agents are forever in court because of their signs

Be careful with the road signs - 'technically' they need planning permission to be erected and that's why people get into trouble with them.

Even if you erect them on private property, the property owner is liaible for the permissions and any subsequent fines although the council will usually write to you first demanding it be removed before it gets to that stage.

As SQ2 has said above, any signage company can produce them for you and they are relatively inexpensive depending on the size and materials used.

Sign will cost about 10-15 for an A5 type sign.

I placed some out recently but had some complaints. I'd advise:

    - If you're putting them on telephone poles - put them just above head height

    - Don't stick them at traffic signs at estate entrances as they can get in the way of people looking for oncoming traffic
