Contactor Noisy

I have a system for ensuring that only one shower is on at a time.

One of the contactors when energised is very noisy.

Is there anything that can be done to reduce the noise or is is a case of just dumping the contactor and getting a new one.

Apart form the noise everything works fine.

The contactor would be about 5 years old.

    Thanks

try powering the contactor off and on again , this sometimes reduces the noise if not just replace

You could try using a soild state relay. It wouldnt make any noise. Expensive.
