25lbs lighter than me, yup it does :pac: But no-one has called me a skinny runner yet!

Always been skinny myself, but I've no problem being fairly similar stats to Linford. ;)

I'd actually question the averages as people are much heavier these days-5ft 8.5 and 154lbs seems lighter than average to me.

I'm 6'0 and 71.5kg, dunno how this compares with averages, but it's down from 84kg of flab so i'm delighted!! Not really worried about how i compare to other runners as long as i can perform to acceptable level :)

    How accurate are those figures?
I find it hard to believe that the figures for Zatopek and Keino are correct. It would be hard to find a 5'9" Kenyan weighing so much.

In fairness 74kg at 6ft 1 is still very skinny.
    I am Skolinsky's weight at 5 ft 9

At a recent 5k race I bumped into an old school mate. When I told him what time I'd ran he was in shock, he told me I didn't look like a runner. I had to hold my tongue the guy was about 3 stone overweight and was over 10 minutes slower than me. I never liked the $hit head anyway :D

The more miles an athlete logs the more likely they are to lose weight unless they include Bigmacs or pizzas as part of there refueling from exercise.

I refuel with whatever I get my hands on...
    I can't put on weight!
