Threads appearing before polls

Would it be possible to make it so that threads with polls not to appear until the poll itself has been completed and validated? It would just avoid all the inevitable posts of "Duh, there's no poll" every time someone adds one and takes over 2 seconds to add the poll options.

It's probably a lot of grief to do that. I'll think about a solution at some stage, but it'll be weeks/months before I get time to work on it.
