I've got an interview tomorrow with Majestic Marketing and I'm not too sure whether to go or not, I know there are a lot of scam marketing companies around working people to the bone for commission only but I haven't actually heard anyone say anything about these guys in particular (although I think that's because they keep changing their name!)

So please tell me everything you know!

    Haha, thanks!
I'm so broke that that was my main concern, I live in the sticks so it'd be a tenner down the pan!

    Con Artists.

If you want to make a tiny amount of money, plough around in all sorts of weather banging on doors of people who will cringe at the sight of you, work long unfulfilling hours and be fed a load of bull about how much money you're going to make/how you're going to rise through the ranks in the business - then by all means go ahead and do the interview.

They are one of many groups operating under one big company and they are all scam artists. If you do decide to go to the interview (some people say it's good practice) then make sure you believe absolutely nothing you're told. It's all bull, they only want to use you as a guinea pig.

    Short thread about them: http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055606814

    Long thread: http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055734558

Long thread goes into how certain companies have a habit of changing their name, I think.

Thanks a lot, I emailed to cancel my interview anyway!
An hour and a half later, she sent me details about the interview process so I think she was just in denial about me not coming lol!

I did ring a couple of hours before that after reading about it being commission-only and door-to-door and the woman insisted that these things were on the ad on jobs.ie, but they weren't of course!

    Cheers!

Got a call from two of these places today to come in for an interview tomorrow and was really excited, i decided to do some research for the interviews and found all this.
Really pissed off because i was excited to finally get an interview but i suppose id rather find out now instead of after being taken for a ride.
