    Hi,

I bought my house 8 years ago but I dont recall signing any contracts for a managment company. A new company have taken over without us knowing and the sent me a solicitors letter to pay up or go to court. I've tried to contact the solicitor we used for the buying of the house but he's been struck off. Can anyone give me any info as to were I should go to get a copy of these documents or any helpful advice.

    Thanks in advance.

Yous solicitor should have all the documents. Normally, if a solicitor is struck off, some other solicitor would take over the clients. Try contacting the Law Society to see if they can help.

Other than that, you could ask the solicitor for the developer/builder for a copy of their copy of your contracts.

You could ask the management agent, but they are unlikely to have copies of the original contracts.
