    The Mere Mortals get back together for the Monasterevin Venice of Ireland Festival 2010.

    The Mere Mortals are a six piece rock band from the midlands area in Ireland formed in the late 80's. They played Feile 90 with Van Morrison, The Pogues and Crowded House and Poulaphouca supporting Bob Geldoff as well as selling out regular gigs in Dublin's Baggot Inn and Rockgarden. All original members are to reunite for the Venice of Ireland Festival on 17th July 2010 where they will play live at the Hazel Hotel Monasterevin, there first live performance together in almost 20 years.
