How to report Facebook abuse?

    Hi im just wondering does anyone know a way of contacting facebook help, there doesnt seem to be anywhere you can just email them in the help centre.
    i received an abusive email in my Inbox but the sender has since deleted the profile they sent it from so there is no "Report Abuse" button now.

    i have went through all the Help section on facebook to see if i have any other option but there doesnt seem to be any other way, or any email address i can send my query too.

    If anyone has any idea that would be great,

    There's probably not a lot Facebook can do if somebody does a 'hit and run' like that. Obviously it's hard for somebody to delete a profile so all they have done is either blocked you or deactivated their profile.

    Report it to FB but don't expect a quick response - they will still have details of the person who cread the account the e-mail came from. If it's serious enough consult your solicitor.

    Thanks for your reply, i just cant seem to find a way to report it :( its a pity there is not just a help email address that i could contact them by but as you said i wouldnt expect a quick response anyways.

    Iv a feeling the profile was set up just to send that email so i'l probaby never find out who it actually is..

    Well there's an offensive facebook group targeting certain people in my hometown, i've reported it 3 times over the past year but ...nothing its still there for the world to see.

    Like the OP i was looking for an email address to contact facebook but i can't find anything...i take it that facebook just doesn't give a damn about offensive material.
