Facebook protest is a waste of electrons. Write a real letter and cancel if you want to make a difference.

Twitter posts have got results from big business in the states. Why can't facebook work on sky? Also people can start tweeting about sky ripping off too. The facebook page can be the central location, for the collective masses.

    talk is cheap..
    Action is what is needed.

Mass migration of subscribers to freesat or mass downgrades would make sky take notice.

I don't think sky is value for money, thats why i switched to freesat.. But thats just me.

Reckon he's lost a lot of listeners to his radio programme because of that advert. I know I can't stand listening to his voice after having to put up with that ad.

agree with other posts here...only way to get skys attention is to cancel or downgrade...unfortunately tho, sky don't seem to give a flying fcuk about its Irish customers. they have proven that on a consistent basis, with their outrageous price differential between here and the UK...sky sports is almost double in price here:mad::mad:

err . . . lots of people have cancelled and moved. Guess what - they're saving money. It's the people who continue to pay *and* continue to moan about the price that are the mad ones. Just cancel and be done.

    i have a freesat + box.

i set it to record nearly every half decent movie thats on, so i have a massive collection to view when i want. and the same with TV series.

there are still times that theres nothing on .. but its the same with sky. 100's of channels and nothing on

I'm not knocking the boardie's but boards is faceless. On Facebook you have a real identity. Big business respect that a lot more.

I'm not knocking you personally, but stop, stop right there. My wife has four different "real identities" on failbook.

No really, stop! You'll find they respect cold hard cash a lot more than a crappy internet campaign or failbook page that every man and his dog "likes"...

It's so easy to knock ideas down isn't it. Why not try and be productive?
Does your wife know how much more expensive Sky is over here?

Facebook has a bigger and more uneducated community about the prices of Sky in Ireland. Most people don't know the vast price differences people are paying here compared to the UK. That the main problem.

At the end of the day it's about educating the people. The more people know, the more people can act on it.
