Central vacuum - heat extraction from house?

I will be installing a central vacuum first fix very soon, choices are in the utility or outside garage.

Will a high powered vacuum for 20 mins a day in the winter cause a significant heat loss from the house if vacuumed from the house to an outside garage?

    .....

Good one! I'm seriously thinking of looking into a robot vacuum cleaner, other half hoovers First thing after work each and every day. Didn't get PM by the way, nothing showing up.

    Any final thoughts on this?

Airtightness and less heat loss from having the unit inside the envelope of the house, less noise and possibly less smell from having it in the garage?

Just got my unit delivered this morning so I'll have to decide soon, DIY installation coming up...

Don't let the (worthwhile) drive for energy efficiency obscure the essential need for a safe and comfortable environment . Indoor air qulaity and essential hygiene must take priority . Having said I think the heat loss will be neglible .

In fact if you forgot about a central vac and use a pull around vacuum - it will probably discharge sufficient heat to compensate :D

~OOpps - I re read your post - you bought the central vac already . I would locate in the garage .
