How long before headshops close?

    This is a genuine question.

    My father is unfortunate to live close to a headshop and over the last couple of weeks there has been syringes and all kinds of paraphenalia off to one side of the house where junkies have been shooting their "bath salts" up. We cleared up the mess and put a new door on the side of the house which they were using as a shooting gallery. We called the cops and they were up fairly quickly and caught one of the junkies. So no problems for a few days.

    Now today there was more of the same **** just outside his front door this evening. They are well equipped, alchohol wipes, small plastic containers of distilled water, the "bath salts" we see the labels they leave behind and all other kinds of sh*te. I'm assuming that they are getting all this as a one stop shop, so is there a law against selling syringes and works? I know there is supposed to be a bill to close down the headshops but when?

    Anyway, rant over.

    When most of us say "social justice" we mean equality under the law opposition to prejudice, discrimination and equal opportunities for all. When Social Justice Activists say "social justice" they mean an emphasis on group identity over the rights of the individual, a rejection of social liberalism, and the assumption that unequal outcomes are always evidence of structural inequalities.

    "Catch-all" legislation dealing with the headshops will be in place before the summer recess, this will effectively result in them closing down en masse. Factories in China have been making all manner of new psychoactive drugs to get around the original ban, the government have now done the right thing with this new bill.

    That sounds serious is it possible there not head shop junkies and are in fact the real deal using crack and heroin, I've never head of anyone shooting up with stuff from a head shop. Is there a methadone clinic anywhere near by?

    People certainly did inject the bath salts. Some people will inject anything to get high. But i thought all that sort of stuff is gone from the headshops now. It could just be heroin junkies.

    I dont think it's heroin junkies. All this stuff has happened in the last few months since the headshop opened. Other properties are affected in the same way and have had to do the same i.e. putting up sidegates with padlocks etc. All the works left behind have plenty of the same cardboard labels for "bath salts" which as has been shown in reports is just a blatant lie describing their product.

    I have heard more about the owners of this place today and frankly it's scary, there are some serious people behind this operation. It is open until 4 in the morning with cars and taxis practically queueing up waiting their turn.
