Laptop - Remove Data

    A simple question:

How does one delete all data when passing on a laptop for another person to borrow?

(I'd like to delete my activity, but keep the software programs on it.)
    Thanks in advance.

Set them up a "restricted user" account on the laptop.

Make sure the laptop is NOT set to automatically log a user in.

Make sure that the administrators documents and settings are kept "private". (This may not be possible from Windows "Home" XP/Vista/7 versions).

Make sure booting from removable drives is disabled in the BIOS.
