Hp Laptop

    Hi all have a Compaq HP laptop about a year old when i go to my homepage be it yahoo,google in the search section it just fills out 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 all the time but the button is not stuck anyone have any ideas:confused: cheers

    Could be a virus, run a anti virus scan on your pc! Otherwise I dont know the problem, have never heard of an issue like yours before.

    YOU could try f8 safe mode with networking,or start ,programs,acessorys, onscreen keyboard as a temporary solution.
    OR TRY A LINUX live cd ,dothe letters work as normal in linux mode .

    Assuming your 0 or o key is not stuck, try a differnt browser, like chrome or firefox? Could also reset web settings in IE.

    i tried tfc in virus section and it sorted it out cheers all:)
