How to clear my laptop

Hi. I have been using my landladys laptop for the last 6 months or so. She now want's to lend it to somebody else and I want to know how to delete my history or basically clear it so that this person can't access my browsing history. It's a nightmare as I had built up a nice amount of favourite websites, etc. I would have a lot of research on it and have checked bank accounts, etc. So, as I'm not very friendly with who she is lending it to, would rather not let them look up what I have been reading up on, interested in, over the last few months.

    Can someone help me. :)

    Thanks.

My landlady said to just clear the history on internet options, but this seems too simple of a solution.

    What do you think?

Make a GUEST account... then put a password on your account...

    that should do the job

    Install CCleaner.
    Link

When you start it up, you'll see all the things it is going to clean. Make sure all the boxes for your internet browser are ticked. Then click 'Run Cleaner'. That should delete the history, cookies, passwords etc.

    You can delete bookmarks manually.

You can copy your favourites if you want to keep them, for IE they'd be here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Favorites
for other browsers you may be able to export them
