M&S is in the Corrib Shopping Centre on Eyre Street beside Debenhams. It is the old Roches Stores building.

HMV is located in Edward Square, just off William Street. It is right beside Top Shop and A Wear.

there is no morks and sparks in galway worth speaking off.its slightly bigger than a newsagents. they should have rented or bought the entire building if they wanted to make a go of it. instead we have a little bit of debenhams thrown in as well.

OP - the transition to Galwayshire is almost complete. Some Harvester pubs, a couple of Costa coffee shops, some closed down Woolworth shops, a few empty factories and its done.

The Roches/Corrib Shopping centre M&S was supposed to test the market for a move into a much bigger place in a redeveloped Galway Shopping Centre.

When Roches became Debenhams the supermarket was left behind - this was converted into M&S.

tl;dr - Yes there is an M&S but it is tiny.

    HMV is probably bigger.

It's almost like being in England Dublin in Galway nowadays.
