I'm going on holidays for a week in August, leaving on a Thursday returning on a Tuesday. My rent allowance is paid into the post office every Thursday and I always collect it then. Does anyone know if I will be able to collect the payment Tuesday or if it will have expired by then? Or who I could contact to check?

let your CWO know when your going and they may be able to change the day for that week

i know there's a form you have to fill out in the social welfare office when your going on holidays, so you cant get your jobseekers ect.i would suggest going there, if they cant help you then go to your community welfare officer i would imagine he would have a similar form for rent allowance
