Damo my advice to you is don't think about what college course you should do. Instead think about what job you'd like to do for a living.

Maybe shortlist a few jobs and go and talk to a few companies who specialise in that area.

Ask them what college course is best suited to that line of work.

Damo, good thought there from Vegeta.

Also ... most VECs run an Adult Guidance Service, might be worth finding out where your nearest office is and making an appointment.

Also have a look at the Careers and Jobs Discussion forum. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1287&order=desc There is a good few threads discussing IT and Computer careers and courses there.

Damo check out http://www.qualifax.ie/ for a wide range of courses in IT and the web!! you wud be too late applying for some courses as they require you to use CAO system but some colleges may still accept direct entry onto some courses.
