    Flat screw driver and a twizzer worked for me in the past.

    Might get you out of having to remove the whole unit.

    Is it possible that it might be like one on a PC? They have a pin hole on the front - you straighten a paper clip and gently push it in to release the CD.

    Not saying this applies, but if it does....
