i'm currrently experimenting with free version media monkey

Tagscanner is brilliant for tagging and autonumbering. I put together set lists for playing live music and I find that this is the quickest to get the job done. I usually try to organise the tracks in to a folder structure Artist/Album/Trackname.mp3 and then work on the tagging, folder by folder. Once you have them tagged the rest is easy.
