Emmmm......no....just...no.

I thought it was awful.

I do have problems switching off my brain though, and finding stupid dick & fart jokes funny.
Russell Brand isn't an actor either, never does he actually look like he is the character he is supposed to be portraying.
He's a half decent comedian, acting....not so much....

Really? there was some serious laff out loud moments!

Especially his girlfriends songs! I really hate Russell Brand but excellent film!

This has got to be the most nauseating trailer I've come across in quite a while. I thought trailers were there to try and sell the movie to you?

I ended up seeing this the other night, I didn't think it was awful, but it wasn't very good either. I might have chuckled once or twice - probably during the random fight scene - but otherwise there were just vaguely amusing moments. It wasn't a total waste of time, but it's not a film for me at the same time. I'd have liked it much less if Elizabeth Moss from Mad Men hadn't been given so much screen time.

I thought it was ok, one or two funny moments, I preferred Brand in Forgetting Sarah Marshall tbh.

I pretty much hate Jonah Hill as a 'comic' actor. The best thing I can say about him in this is that he is less obnoxious than Russell Brand. I don't think either of them are compelling leads, and neither of their characters are particularly likable until they learn their forced lessons, so that's probably the major weakness of the film. I'd say it's the director who knows how to frame a joke more than either of those two clowns.

Watched this on Monday evening after a sh1te day at work and found it reasonably entertaining/funny. The highlight for me was Puff Daddy...I guess he wasn't acting that much but he did well in the few scenes he was in.

Apatow & co. aren't quite scraping the bottom of the barrel yet but they're deffo within touching distance in my opinion

It was alright, just nothing special.

The film was wildly uneven, some of the jokes felt very forced (dude I think I was just raped???) and the film tries to shoehorn some pathos into characters that are generally unlikabe and one dimentional, so that really falls flat on it's face.
Worst of all, there was just no chemisty between Brand and Hill which is absolutely essential for a 'buddy comedy' to work, just a lot of shouting and sporadically funny jokes.

Forgetting Sarah Marshell was far better.

Hate Jonah Hill too. Liked him up to about a week ago, as in I like the films Id seen him in and thought he was a good comic actor. However, whilst getting ready for work last Sat morning, the repeat of Ireland AM was on tv and they showed an interview they had done with him that wk. I thought he came across as arrogant and obnoxious, and was completely disinterested in being interviewed, and you could feel the discomfort of the presenters, as they were trying to talk to him. He was just sitting there, taking up the full couch, and seemed like he'd have prefered to be anywhere else but there.

Saw the film though, and like it, but Im a Russel Brand fan, so Im biased anyway:)

I was starting to think I was living in some parallel universe, where people's senses of humour had taken a turn for the worse.

I honestly don't know why I went to see it, honestly didn't know what I expected.

Never again will I go and see one of these kind of films.
