Own team destroying my claymores!!!

Have noticed this alot lately. I mostly play team deathmatch and i'm rather fond of the old claymores.

Over the last month I have noticed my own teammates destroying my claymores. I've actually witnessed them doing it.

I keep missing there names to pm them afterwards.

Anyone else come across this?

Is that even possible?

I play alot with 1 friend who's nearly always in the same spot in certain maps.. Croughing behind the box in the centre house in Salvage, or in the corner in the house with the half broken wall in Overgrown, and when I'm with him I am a bit of a díck and put a claymore partially in front of his so I get the kill and he doesn't :D

Still, even if my claymore didn't kill them, I'd at least have his to fall back on, breaking your own teammates is kinda stupid I think.

i dont think its your own team doing it,i thaught the same thing before,but it was becuase i was setting down too many claymores,you can only put down 2,if oyu try put down 3, the last one you layed down automatically blows up, are you using scavenger?

If he witnessed them doing this, then your explanation wouldn't work I presume?

I don't think you can shoot them. So not sure how else they've done it...

Im open to correction here, but I think you can only destroy your own team mates Claymores and C4 in Hardcore only.

Okay I'm beginning to doubt myself at this point, maybe a few too many while playing.

When I get home I'm going to try and shoot one from my team.

Didn't know about the 3 limit one so going to try that also, may be a bit harder to test that one.

Just strange that I've only noticed this lately and I was nearly positive I saw 1 or 2 actually shooting them.

Maybe they were idiots.

the 3 claymore thing is true, you can have 2 down, then once you plant the 3rd it blows the first one you planted.

I think you can only do that in hardcore

what I do find annoying though is when "teammates" put their claymores infront of yours so they'll get the kill :mad:

Don't worry... we all made the 3 claymore mistake.... i think.

yes you can destroy teammates claymores. Maybe not on Core but on Hardcore you can because I've had many destroyed by teammates. I always kill them for doing it.

If I catch a teammate camping in hardcore, I'll blow up his claymores and then use my flashbangs on him.
